How does
Invisalign^® work?

We know these Invisalign^® aligners are sounding too good to be true, but take it from us, we have treated hundreds of patients over the years and have achieved great results for our patients. Here’s how it works.

The Invisalign^® process starts with an assessment of your teeth. We need to determine if Invisalign^® aligners are right for you. If they are, we’ll proceed to the digital scanning stage where we use a state-of-the-art orthodontic scanner. This provides an accurate scan of your teeth. This scan along with your photos and x-rays are used by the orthodontist to create your treatment plan, ensuring your treatment goals are met. Custom aligners are then manufactured out of smooth, comfortable, and virtually invisible medical-grade plastic. These aligners are designed to fit over the top of your teeth to guide them into position. Aligners are changed every 7-10 days with gradual teeth movement being achieved.

The aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements our orthodontists plan for you. Each aligner is worn for 7-10 days. After 7 or 10 days, simply remove your current set of aligners and replace it will the next one in the series. The average treatment length of Invisalign is 18-24 months.
