Paying for Treatment

At Torque Orthodontics, we believe that cost should never get in the way of straighter teeth, a more attractive smile or increased confidence. That is why our team tailors your treatment quote and payment options to suit your requirements. Payment options can include an interest-free payment plan or if you wish to pay in full for treatment, you may benefit from a discount. If more than one family member requires Orthodontic Treatment, you will benefit from a sibling/family discount.

Treatment
costs

One of the most common questions we get asked is, how much does orthodontic treatment cost, and there’s no one answer for this. That is because our approach to orthodontic treatment is to provide you with the treatment you need, not what our other patients require. This means your treatment is specific to you, and so is the cost.

Treatment costs

A range of treatment prices are:

  • Braces - $7000 - $12000
  • Invisalign® - $8000 - $12000

When we devise your quote we consider:

  • The type of treatment required,
  • The complexity of your treatment,
  • How long treatment will take,
  • Your age and any other dental issues relating to your treatment.

Payment plans

At your first appointment, one of our treatment coordinators will discuss your treatment plan and the associated fee for treatment. Full orthodontic treatment typically takes between 18 – 24 months.

To help make treatment as cost-effective and as affordable as possible, we offer interest free payment plans for our patients.

A minimum deposit of $1000 is required to commence treatment and payment plans through Denticare allow patients to pay for treatment over 30 months.

We assist our patients with this simple payment plan process.

Please note Denticare’s minimum eligibility requirements for payment plans:

By signing the Direct Debit Request as the Responsible Party for the Payment Plan you acknowledge & confirm that:
a) You are providing accurate and valid details within your Denticare Direct Debit Request Payment Plan.
b) You are an Australian Citizen residing permanently in Australia.
c) You are employed and have Adequate Income to honour the scheduled payments as per your signed Payment Plan.
d) You are 18 years of age or older.
e) You are not subject to bankruptcy or any debt agreements.

There are also health fund rebates available for orthodontic treatment. These benefits vary depending on which fund you are with.

Health funds

If you have a health fund that covers orthodontic treatment you may be able to use your rebate as a deposit towards your treatment. Every health fund has different coverage requirements, so we do ask that you find out exactly what your fund entitles you to. Our administrative team can then work through the paperwork with you to ensure you have all the information your health fund requires prior to starting treatment.
